Real County Historical Commission Meeting
The Real County Historical Commission will meet on Saturday, May 18, at 2:00 in the afternoon at the Nutrition Center in Leakey. Our guest speaker will be Barbara Perkins who will do a presentation on her book, “A Shattered Spring 1927” which is the peoples story about the tornado which ravaged Rocksprings, Texas in 1927.
April Texas Trash Bash
Friends of Garner members joined the April Texas Trash Bash highway clean-up on the 29th. They stuffed 23 “Adopt a Highway” bags on a two mile stretch of US 83. Thanks to these awesome volunteers!
