Hill Country Post is a community-based initiative offering news and an information platform built to serve the people, businesses, and rural communities of the Texas Hill Country.
Our paramount public service
The Hill Country Post’s paramount public service is to provide its communities with emergency notices, safety alerts, community awareness, missing persons, and agency outreach from law enforcement, fire fighters, EMS and other public safety agencies to reach the communities they serve and protect.
Who we serve
We exist for the neighbors, ranchers, landowners, small business owners, working families, and visitors who live, work, ranch, hunt, trade, and do business across this region. Our platform is designed to share what matters locally — trusted local news, community vital public safety information, public notices, legal notices, worship notices, obituaries, events, and business promotions.
A local platform with a greater mission
The Hill Country Post is an initiative of the Mission Transition Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit dedicated to helping our active-duty military, veterans, and first responders overcome post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and find a path to healing.
