State Rep. Steve Toth (R-Conroe) has defeated four-term incumbent U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX-02) on Tuesday night after a fiery Republican primary election.
According to unofficial election results as of 11:30 p.m., Toth captured 57 percent while Crenshaw trailed with 39 percent. Candidates Martin Etwop and Nicholas Plumb each took less than 2 percent.
