89th Gillespie County Youth Livestock Show sees 422 exhibitors despite the current troubles of the pandemic. A brighter horizon for Gillespie county and hoping it will be a sign to surrounding counties.
A spokesperson for the Guard said the deployment is not related to the election and troops would not be stationed at polling places. Mayors in two cities say they weren't advised of the deployment.
