Man Charged With Hunter Harassment
A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agent cited a subject for alleged hunter harassment on Oct. 28 in Vermilion Parish. Agents received a complaint on Oct. 24 from a resident of Gueydan about his neighbor shooting a shotgun and revving up an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on multiple days while he was deer hunting.
TPWD Commission Makes Big Moves On Oysters
At its Nov. 7 meeting in Corpus Christi, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission (TPW) adopted Cultivated Oyster Mariculture (COM) rule changes to clarify and refine current program rules. An Arkansas gentleman was cited by law enforcement in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana, on November 1 for alleged battle fraud.
