The Texas Hill Country Community Foundation is still working to assist the last 2,000 residents of the state’s devastated Texas Hill Country in returning home after the catastrophic flood crisis on July 4.
More than$ 50 million of the money has been dedicated to assisting with housing solutions, according to a press release from the foundation, which raised$ 150 million to support the flood recovery efforts. In addition to that,$ 35 million has so far been provided through grants to organizations that provided assistance with pressing housing needs.
