Jorge Borrego Wins Republican Nomination for State Rep. John Lujan’s Open Texas House Seat

Former Texas Public Policy Foundation K-12 education director Jorge Borrego secured the Republican nomination for Texas House District (HD) 118 for the November 3 election. 

Borrego won 53 percent of the vote, Desi Martinez received 27 percent, and Joe Shellhart 21 percent.
