Voters have selected the Republican nominees for Texas Senate Districts 4 and 11, two strongly Republican-leaning seats previously held by state Sens. Brandon Creighton (R-Conroe) and Mayes Middleton (R-Galveston).
The SD 4 Republican nominee is Brett Ligon, who won 75 percent of the vote to defeat U.S. Air Force veteran and businessman Charlie Miller, who received 25 percent.
