The death toll in Kerr County and the surrounding area has increased to 27, with 27 children from Camp Mystic still missing, according to local authorities during a Saturday morning press conference.
“I want people to know that today is going to be a hard day,” Kerrville Mayor Joe Herring told reporters tearfully. Herring asked for continued prayers for the community, and urged those asking how they can help to follow the City of Kerrville Facebook page.
