Choosing the Best Jig Products for your Needs

Fishing is a hands- on activity for sure, and many of us do n’t necessarily want to make it “easier” than it already is. Heck, overcoming issue is half the fun. There are still some things that make the game very difficult. Consider adding these three items to your repertoire before going fishing once more, and I’m sure you wo n’t regret it.
Mess-free fish has a huge advantage over the real thing when it comes to making fish simpler.
- Synthetic” Natural” Bait – Fish like eating squid, but it makes a thick, inky chaos all over the place. Fish like to eat fish, but when they cut it up for fish, filth and scales are everywhere. Almost every natural hook you would use in saltwater produces a lot of clutter. These days, however, there are plenty of synthetic “natural” bait you can choose from, and many of them work every bit as good as the real thing. Notice the tiny orange band above the image? That’s Fishbites crab taste, and dark disc love it. Just about anything can be substituted out from bloodworms to blue crabs, and artificial bait like this does n’t need to be refrigerated, bought fresh before every trip, or thrown away when it does n’t get used.
- Tethered Snips: How several times have you sifted through the tackle box in search of trimmers or shears before cutting your collection with a knife? How many times have you searched for the weapon before heading out? Tethered snips ( Boomerangs were the original, but there are plenty of knock- offs around these days, too ) work great for snipping line, never get lost, and (quality versions ) last for years even with saltwater use. You can hang them from a belt loop or life jacket ring with a picture on the end of a self-retracting cable so you always know where they are.
- Gorilla Glue: I always leave the wharf without a box filled with this thing in a pipe. Quit worrying that the tail will be pulled down over and over again with a soft plastic. Save old feathers so that you can quickly attach a new swim to the back of the brain when one is bitten off. And when anything that was glued in place ( like a hatch gasket, foam pad, or cupholder insert ) pulls free you can secure it back in place in seconds.
