The U.S. Mexico border is experiencing “all-time lows” of illegal immigrant crossings, according to the Department of Homeland Security ( DHS), as a result of President Donald Trump’s administration’s increased security efforts.
On August 1, DHS released preliminary data for the month of July that demonstrate that, in addition to the “lowest single-day misgivings in story,” there were only 88 apprehensions at the southern border and 116 across the nation.
