The Biden administration is accused of trying to obstruct a national disability rules by adding “gender distress” to a recently approved rule, in a lawsuit filed by Texas and 16 other states.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services ( HHS) was sued on September 26 on the grounds that its rule “upends decades of established federal disability law” by changing the definition of “gender dysphoria” as a disability under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
