The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) issued a ruling on Monday that would not prevent the Texas App Store Accountability Act from being implemented while legal arguments are being brought about the statute’s legality.

The Texas Legislature passed the legislation last month, which is rife with complaints, and requires technicians to verify the age of customers and require parental consent for app business purchases and downloads for people under the age of 18.
