The Democratic nominee in Texas’ 2026 U.S. Senate race, state Rep. James Talarico (D-Austin), launched a campaign tour in Arlington on Wednesday night to publicize an agenda aimed at lowering the cost of living.
Dubbed the “New American Dream,” it resembled the platform his Republican rival, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, announced nearby the night before, solidifying affordability as a leading issue in the race to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.
