Gov. Jane Nelson, Texas Secretary of State ( SOS), left the office on Friday morning. Robert Howden, Greg Abbott’s Director of Legislative Affairs and Senior Advisor, was given the job.
In a media release released on June 17th, Abbott stated that” Robert Howden has distinguishedly served Texas in four Democratic governors ‘ services.” He does perform exceptionally well as Secretary of State, I have complete confidence in. His broad public support knowledge and legislative experience enable him to stand strong in Texas’s international arena and defend the integrity of the election results.
