Obituary: Mr. Ralph Edward Boaz

July 03, 1950 – June 14, 2019

Ralph Edward Boaz of Barksdale, Texas passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at his home. He was born in Pasadena, Texas on July 3, 1950 to William Hall Boaz and Carmon Oneta Newsom Boaz.

Ralph married Brendia Stone on November 11, 1967 in Conroe, Texas.

Ralph served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War with the 21st Calvary Division. He was a loving son, husband, father, pawpaw, uncle, and cousin. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 51 years, Brendia Boaz; son Jesse Boaz and wife Rebecca; grandson Colton Boaz; brother Danny Boaz Sr. and wife Ina; sisters Margaret Qualls and husband Ronnie, Sue Raymond and husband Jerry, and Lynda Colwell and husband Tim Weeks; sister-in-law’s Shirley Boaz and Jenice Boaz; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents William and Carmon “Oneta” Boaz; brothers Billy Boaz and Gene Boaz; and brother-in-law Wayne Colwell.

Viewing will be one hour before funeral service at Nelson Funeral Chapel, Camp Wood, Texas.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Nelson Funeral Chapel in Camp Wood, Texas.

Arrangements are under the personal care of Nelson Funeral Home of Camp Wood, Texas.
