New Flags for Mission Transition

There is a brand-new United States and Texas Flag proudly waving in the breeze at Campo Rio Ranch, home of Camp Mission Transition. The old flags were becoming faded and worn and needed to be changed out.

Mission Transition wishes to express our appreciation to the Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, VFW Post 837 in San Antonio for their generosity and support by donating the flags to Mission Transition. Both VFW Post 837 and Post Auxiliary have continually been actively supporting Mission Transition in its goal to support our Nation’s veterans and first responders during their time of need.

Our Flag is prominently displayed near the Campo Rio Ranch gate and serves as a beacon welcoming our veterans as they enter Camp Mission Transition. The funding to erect the Flag Pole was donated by VFW Post 837. So, Mission Transition, says “Thank You” to all the members of VFW Post 837 and its Auxiliary. We continue to look forward to your assistance and support as we progress on our veterans’ support project.
