SPRING IS HERE IN FULL FORCE! And what a flower the lower Corpus Christi and Laguna Madre Bay systems have experienced. We will focus on those places with the most tactic as the year progresses. When we only important in a small amount of fish or make one tilt, fish is different this time of year. We want to see frightened water and rafts of mullet this time of year. Fish will switch to a wide range of tail tuna and shrimp as part of their diet.
A variety of a sea tail baits will be used to match the hatches of glass minnows, kitten perch, menhaden, and the occasionally irritating hatch of croaker. The major lakes early in the morning, along with the 5″ Saltwater Assassin Shad,” next is the Coastal Brew Dart in the 5″ type, next is the Lil John XL from MirrOlure, and fourth is the new Big Smooth from Down South. We will use all these straight-tailed baits in a variety of ways, starting with a very violent floating action and then holding a fish hostage while the fish waits for the pause. Your lighter colors are the same in clear, clean water, and the same in lighter ocean and in the early morning hours. Always leave the ship without having red or green in your arsenal in this area of the woods.
This talk about the places we will be looking for these large insects! This winter and spring the King Ranch Shoreline has been false, and it’s going to continue. Consider the bait where you’ll find bites, and watch for potholes and color changes. As the water begins to heat up, the numerous spoils will start to become extremely effective. Watch out for the fish to leave the ruin and the flats and deeper waters. Again, fish is crucial! Shamrock Island and flats, as well as the bream opening, will start to attract lots of fish as soon as the bait migrates into the sea, along with the oyster beds that encircle Nueces Bay.
In closing, I want to let everyone know about the new restrictions that have been put in place for our salmon fishing. Make sure to examine them! Nothing more detracts from a great time than a ticket from the “old sheriff”! Despite that, only what you need to exercise CPR!
