In the crowded primary races to replace Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, neither party has a nominee yet, since no candidate captured at least 50 percent of the vote on Tuesday night.
According to unofficial election results, former Houston Mayor Annise Parker took 47 percent of the Democratic primary vote, while Houston City Council Member Letitia Plummer trailed with 37 percent and businessman Matt Salazar came in third with 16 percent.
