Lt. Gov. A select committee will be formed by House Speaker Dustin Burrows (R-Lubbock ) and House Speaker Dan Patrick to begin researching and investigating the political extremism that has become popular since Charlie Kirk’s death.
At a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University ( UVU), Kirk, 31, was killed while speaking. When he was shot and taken to the hospital, he was talking with one of the occasion members as he was being treated for his injuries.
