Thousands of students in Texas were impacted by a cyberattack on Canvas, a technique used by schools and universities across the country. It is now up online.
A compensation notice was reportedly sent to various universities on Thursday, May 7, according to Baylor University, which reported that the Canvas system had been blocked. In addition to the business Instructure, Canvas, which is owned by Instructure, is used by 41 percent of higher learning institutions in the United States.
