Through the years, I’ve tested a lot of different boating equipment, and occasionally the best boat modification you make turns out to be something you did n’t even like. Case in point: The Scanstrut Rokk Edge 10. It costs less than$ 150, takes 20 minutes to install, and once you have one on your boat, you’ll wonder how you’ve ever lived without.
A mobile cell phone charger and cradle are included with the Rokk Edge 10. There are many competing products out there that also fill this market, but the brand is much less significant than the unit’s crucial qualities, such as the fact that it firmly holds the phone in any situation, is waterproof, and can cost any phone in any case. These attributes eliminate a ton of issues. No need to locate a safe location to relax your mobile. You never lose it or have to deal with it weighing down a wallet. It’s always charging, so you do n’t have to worry about the phone losing battery. It’s right at the helm so if it rings when you’re cruising even if you do n’t hear it, you’ll see it. And you can kindly offer somebody else’s phone a few minutes to recharge in the cradle when they pass away.
I ca n’t speak for any other models, but with the Rokk Edge 10 my phone has never, ever come free from the cradle. Despite having many different passengers, we have yet to discover a phone that wo n’t charge or a case that wo n’t pass through. And installing the vehicle club only involved drilling three holes, installing the device, installing positive and negative power leads, and installing both. I’m not a big fan of phones, and I try my best to avoid them when I’m fishing. But I never expected a wifi charger and cradle to be so helpful. The truth is that adding it might just be the best ship version always.
