Sabine has made its way to COOLER WATER FISHING. We may observe the flanks intensifying and becoming more frequent in the months of November and December. We, the baitfish, shrimp, and predators are both equally excited about the steady progress we are making toward spring. Even though it was only a few months ago, hunting in triple-digit temperature and water temperatures above 90 degrees seems almost surreal. With each new warm before, we all just keep reviving ourselves.
Winter actually begins on December 21st, and tumble has arrived. Keying on fish will be your key to success as the air and water conditions continue to drop. If you want to have a successful trip, you need to find the bait, whether it’s hyped-up mullet full in the everglades or the enormous hordes of prawns that will put into the river as each fresh front continues to clean the marsh. Good stringers shouldn’t be difficult to find because fish and reds may binge and purge all day long until they can no longer stand it, and the gulls are giving the shrimp and fish ahead in the bay as usual.
On nice days, it’s not unusual to see animals working into the riverbeds as well. However, there are times when finding hairstyle hanging around small cuts and drains or merely fishing the beach will be your best bet. We hardly ever fish in these places in the cool water without running into a few warrior reds and the occasional wonderful flounder. As usual, a strong tide in either way will aid in locating the fish and luring fish to bite. Dark plastics on 1 / 8 or 1 / 4 ounces. It’s challenging to defeat direct mind. Casting to the bank’s deep water, work it very slowly. They did pay closer attention to it and reach it more frequently if there are large slots present.
The tongue of Bridge Bayou, Madame Johnson, and Johnson are all excellent, great water honey holes on the Sabine. Move the open sea and fish the animals if super-fast activity is what you’re looking for and you don’t mind a little competition. Most of the schools will also have some outstanding colors mixed in, and some of these schooling fish are on steroids. When fishing for teaching fish in the great ocean, soft plastics in almost any color are difficult to beat. I hope to see you here immediately because there are plenty of fish to be caught straight today on Sabine. We are not in quad figures, and the water temperature is below 90 degrees, which is the best part.
