The State of Texas is suing the City of Denton for a personal event being held on the grounds of its community center that will include gender-neutral changing rooms, allegedly in contravention of Texas ‘ law that requires the isolation of publicly funded intimate spaces, such as bathrooms, by biological sex.
The event, which is billed as the” Big Gay Swim Day,” will take place on June 7 and is supposed to be a “private pool party,” according to the Denton Civic Center pool in Quakertown Park.
