A mechanic from Pasadena who has been fighting the town to opened his shop for more than five times is asking the Supreme Court of Texas (SCOTX ) to decide when a tenant can file a lawsuit against their local government.
Azael” Oz” Sepulveda purchased land in 2021 to increase his car mechanic business, but the City of Pasadena required him to agree with a new law that required him to raise his number of parking spaces from five to 28. Sepulveda claimed this technology would cost about$ 40, 000, or half the value of the property, and that he claimed would be literally impossible to fit.
