With the 231 CE, Grady-White expanded their line of composite sea boats. The 231, which is the smallest addition to the Coastal Explorer line, has many of the attributes found in its larger relatives. Forward seat backs can be climbed off the board electronically at the push of a button, and there is an extremely large 69-gallon fishbox in the quarterdeck. Aft seatbacks wiggle out of the way when it’s time for fishing from the casting deck. Although the SeaV2 variable-degree deadrise offers big-water capabilities that some boats of this size can match, the hollow draft is only 16′′ so you can get into thin waters.
