A group of Texas House and Senate people gathered to discuss the growing concern about the physical and mental health impact of social media during what might be the 88th Congressional Session’s final commission reading.
The Joint Committee to Study the Effects of Media on Minors, headed up by co-Chairs Sen. Bryan Hughes (R-Mineola ) and Rep. Jared Patterson (R-Frisco ), was brought together in order to bring “more attention and more focus” to the issue.
