President Donald Trump praised Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton in a speech immediately following his inauguration ceremony, telling Abbott he is “going to have a partner that’s going to work with” him now on securing the southern border.
“He’s done a good job, the governor of Texas,” Trump said in a speech following the presidential inauguration ceremony to an overflow audience.
