A temporary injunction issued by a judge in Travis County has blocked the release of the Texas Education Agency’s ( TEA ) A-F school accountability ratings while a lawsuit against them is being brought in court.
Judge Daniella Deseta Lyttle of the 261st District Court argued that TEA Commissioner Mike Morath and the organization are not permitted to assign rankings “until this Court issues a final view.” A test has been set for February 10, 2025.
