The board of directors of the Midland Independent School District ( ISD ) unanimously voted to sue Texas Education Agency ( TEA ) Commissioner Mike Morath over the state’s” Robin Hood” recapture system for school funding on Tuesday.
Property-wealthy school towns receive a portion of their property tax revenue from the condition to property-poor districts under Robin Hood.
