
The East Plano Islamic Center ( EPIC ) and Community Capital Partners (CCP ) are accused of “engaging in an illegal development scheme that violated Texas securities law,” according to the Texas Attorney General. The Texas State Securities Board ( SSB ) commissioner has just released a press release that “refutes claims” made in connection with the lawsuit.
Paxton sued EPIC City and CCP next year, alleging that they made “fraud, deception, or misleading statements regarding the purchase of a safety.” under the Texas Securities Act ( TSA ) ).
