After the federal government did not give membership information to Secretary of State Jane Nelson to help clean the voter rolls of noncitizens, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is demanding it from the federal government.
In a letter to Nelson in the middle of September, Paxton demanded that she verify the citizenship of some voters who had registered using methods that” may be verified.”
