The Texas Department of State Health Services ( DSHS) has updated its sex change policy, making court order forms no longer a sufficient source of information when attempting to change the sex marker on a birth certificate.
KXAN first reported on the developments, which discovered that Texans who want to change the sex symbol on their birth certificates can now use qualified court orders on their websites as legal documents.
