Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and House Speaker Dustin Burrows (R-Lubbock) have announced the formation of investigating committees to examine the deadly July 4 flooding disaster that devastated Central Texas this summer.
“The tragedy at Camp Mystic and the flooding disasters this summer have left a devastating impact on Texas families, communities, and our entire state,” Burrows stated in a press release.
