The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) and four Texas A&M University (TAMU) professors filed a lawsuit on Monday against the university’s board of regents over its policy on teaching “race or gender ideology.”
In November, the TAMU System Board of Regents unanimously voted to change the way the university system defined “gender ideology” and “race ideology,” including what is allowed to be taught in the classroom.
