Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX ) is introducing legislation that would designate some Sunni Islamist organizations as terrorist organizations.

The Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2025 is being written by Cruz, according to a fact sheet and a copy of the costs obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
