The Texas coast’s DOT has now changed the bag and size restrictions for caught seatrout. The new provincial changes include:
• Three fish regular case limit per fish
• A maximum length of 15 feet and a max size limit of 20 feet
• One fish that is larger than one
30 inches in the regular bag size is permitted.
Following a number of years of below-average presence, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission decided to change these regulations at its January meeting to support the healing of observed seatrout.
A badge method for capturing large specks was approved by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission.
With the purchase of a saltwater fishing license or confirmation, fishermen can produce an enormous caught seatrout larger than 28 inches. Additionally, the rule allows the retention of one more oversized spotted seatrout per license year and includes a$ 3 Bonus Spotted Seatrout Tag and a$ 3 Exempt Angler Tag ( for those who are legally exempt from license requirements ).
On September 1, the enormous discovered seatrout length and large tag system will be adjusted.
Fishermen can catch one salmon in excess of 30 inches of water until September 1.
