
In the runoff votes for the open Texas attorney general seats, four candidates vie for the position, with Republicans spending a lot of money to demonstrate their conservative qualifications, while Democrats wrangle over the democratic earth and criticize Attorney General Ken Paxton, who will step down.
Texas’s Mayes Middleton (R-Galveston ) won the March 3 Republican primary with 39 % of the vote, while Texas’s Chip Roy (R-Texas ) came in second place with 32 %. Since then, the two have used the campaign trail and radio to charm to the GOP base.
