Numerous people of the Fort Worth City Council have demanded a ban on the city’s data center creation.

Given the “growing concerns our people have expressed regarding the rapid growth of data centers in our area and across the state,” Council Members Carlos Flores, Mia Hall, Chris Nettles, Elizabeth Beck, and Jeannette Martinez signed a letter on July 9 to request the ban.
