Obituary: Matthew Hague McKissack

Matthew Hague McKissack of Leakey, Texas passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at his home. He was born in Roswell, New Mexico on January 11, 2002 to Mickey McKissack and Tracie Loudon McKissack.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, “Pete” and Preston Dudley, Jimmie and Norma Wilson, and Gene and Ann Loudon.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his parents, Mickey and Tracie McKissack of Leakey, TX; grandparents, Howard and Vicki McKissack of Fort Stockton, TX and Jeffery and Jackie Loudon of Runge, TX; aunts and uncles, Dudley and Gretta McKissack of Fort Stockton, TX, Randy and Laura Deming of Runge, TX, Kaci and Kenneth Plunk of Moody, TX; cousins, Maegan and Randy McKenzie of Andrews, TX, Mitchell McKissack of Tyler, TX, Robert and Remi Childress of Moody, TX, Colt and Lexus Deming of Runge, TX, Travis Deming of Runge, TX; great aunt, Linda Stemm of Mertzon, TX and other extended family members.

Viewing will be 1 – 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Nelson Funeral Chapel, Leakey, TX.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Loudon Cemetery, Runge, Texas.

Arrangements are under the personal care of Nelson Funeral Home of Leakey, Texas.
