A recent study from a Texas think tank found a link between area attorneys’ non-prosecution policies and increased crime. However, the group suggests that Texas lawmakers may contemplate reforms following year because there aren’t many state options for dealing with so-called “rogue” prosecutors.
Ross Jackson, a senior policy analyst for Right on Crime at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, stated that he has been conducting research on the subject since last drop.
