Chester Moore, Texas Fish & Game Editor-In-Chief, has been named the National Bighorn Sheep Center’s” Owner Educator of 2023.”
Moore was honored by the service in Dubois, Wyoming, past weekend at its yearly” Buffalo Bash,” which was held at the city’s Museum of Military Vehicles.
At the Bighorn Bash last trip, Chester Moore was pictured with Sara Bridge, the outgoing executive director of the national bighorn sheep facility.
Moore has delivered dozens of presentations on bighorn sheep at schools and written education on wild animal that has been given to thousands of students across the nation.
He taught a Plant course at Little Cypress Christian Academy in 2022, focusing primarily on the protection of wild sheep. He has written several articles for The Wild Sheep Foundation’s official magazine, Texas Fish & Game, as well as the newsletter for the Fish and Game report on bighorns.

This unique money clip, created by a local Wyoming actor, was given to Moore.
One of the greatest accolades of my career is this. Being recognized for your work with children and exotic animal is very motivating. Moore expressed his gratitude to the National Bighorn Sheep Center for this honor.
Kids who face unique challenges are involved in Moore’s preferred wild sheep education projects.
He has taken these kids on many moose photography expeditions in Texas and Colorado through the Higher Calling Wildlife division of his government outreach.
