The discussion surrounding the Great Cougar

Three public hearings will be held by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries ( LDWF ) in January to solicit input for the November-passed Louisiana Black Bear Hunting Season Notice of Intent ( NOI ).
The gatherings did consist of:
- At 6 p.m. on January 16, 2024, at the LSU Ag Center in St. Joseph, 4531 Louisiana Highway 605,
- At 6 p.m. on January 18, 2024, the West Monroe Convention Center will be located at 901 Ridge Ave.
- At 6 p.m. on January 23, 2024, at the Black Bear Golf Course Conference Center in Delhi’s 253-Brown Bear Dr.
