The first blueprint of the Texas congressional redraw is out and it purports to deliver on President Donald Trump’s request for five new Republican seats. The fight has already burned hot, but the temperature is about to turn up even higher.
The proposal alters things substantially in and around the state’s four largest metropolitan areas, making the projected pickups in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and in South Texas.
