Jim Wright, Bo French, the current rail director of Texas, face off in a runoff.

After neither participant received a majority of the vote in the March 3 primary, former Texas Railroad Commissioner Jim Wright will face past Tarrant County Republican Party chair Bo French in the Republican primary on May 26.
In the Republican primary, French received 31.7 percentage of the vote while Wright received 32.1 percent.
