The Texan spoke with Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne (R-TX-24) for an interview covering her newly appointed position as Republican Party of Texas victory chair, the Texas GOP’s stakes this November, and the border crisis. Below is a transcript of that conversation, lightly edited for readability.
You were appointed to head up the 2024 Victory Fund fundraising committee in early September as victory chair. How has the past month been in this new role?
