Incumbent Texas Rep. Stan Kitzman unseated by Dennis ‘Goose’ Geesaman in Republican Primary

Incumbent state Rep. Stan Kitzman (R-Pattison) lost to Republican primary challenger Dennis “Goose” Geesaman on Tuesday night for Texas House District (HD) 85. 

Geesaman came out with 57 percent of the 24,254 total votes compared to Kitzman’s 43 percent, according to the Texas Secretary of State.
