From May 30 through June 1, the Indianola Fishing Marina in Port Lavaca, TX, will host the Annual In-Water Boat Show.
This unique show will give anglers and boaters the chance to test bay boats directly on the water.
Set along Powderhorn Bayou, Indianola Fishing Marina offers a relaxed setting ideal for this hands-on event. Visitors will be able to take test rides on models from Jireh Boats, Jag, El Pescador, Patron, Dargel Kat, Skuta, Flats Cat, Dek Kats, B&D Boat Works, Desperado and others.
The format of the show allows attendees to see how each boat handles real conditions on the bay.
The event will also feature a selection of fishing gear, rods, lures, and equipment from brands like Texas Made Lures, Redtail Republic, and Mermaids at Heart. Additional exhibitors will include Outlaw Off-Road, Texas Fins and Feathers, Wounded Warrior and Sea Tow.
TDECU Bank will also be on-site to assist with financing options.
Indianola Fishing Marina is well equipped for visitors, with a boat launch, a full-service bait and tackle shop, a lighted fishing pier, and a fish cleaning station. The marina also features a waterfront restaurant and bar, offering meals and drinks with views of the bay. Overnight accommodations include cabin rentals and RV park spaces.
The In-Water Boat Show offers a good opportunity for anyone interested in fishing the Texas bays to get familiar with boats and gear in a fun environment.
