At least four Texas teachers have been fired over controversial social media comments about the assassination of leading conservative media figure Charlie Kirk.
Klein Independent School District (ISD) was the first to fire teacher and coach Derek Woods on September 12, two days after the incident. State Rep. Steve Toth (R-Conroe) posted screenshots of Woods’ comments on social media, which read, “I don’t get why anyone is sad… A HORRIBLE F—ING HUMAN,” and, “You reap what you sow.”
