The Fort Worth City Council is once more considering changing its contract to increase the pay for the mayor and council members.
Assistant City Attorney Gavin Midgley informed the town council that the city would not be required to pay any additional taxes if the town won’t have to pay for a charter amendment vote on May 2, 2026 because there will presently be a relationship vote and a special election to replace District 10 seats that were vacated at the time.
